2019 Supplemental and Measurable Guidelines

Optum and Optum of California have created Supplemental and Measurable Guidelines which provide objective and evidence-based measurable components that supplement Optum’s adopted Best Practice Guidelines.

These guidelines were originally approved for use by the Behavioral Policy and Analytics Committee (formerly the Clinical Policy & Operations Committee) on March 22, 2004, and were most recently readopted on February 12, 2019 by the Utilization Management Committee
